Christmas is coming to 26 Oldham Street

Every year in late November we make the trek from central Manchester to Clayton Fold Christmas Tree Farm in the High Peak, Derbyshire to select a tree for the venue. This involves us walking around their vast tree nursery on the side of a hill (sometimes in the dark!) and looking at a lot of trees to then select the perfect tree for the bar area.

We’ve been doing this for several years and the staff and owners at Clayton Fold have come to recognise our distinctive van upon arrival and kindly welcome us each and every year. It’s become a bit of a tradition for us and part of our Christmas build up.

This year we’ve gone for a whopping Nordman Fir. The tree and decorations around the venue will be up this week and all in good time for our 28th Birthday Party. We also serve mulled wine by the glass.
