We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Deputy Manager to join the team at Manchester’s leading grassroots and historic music venue offering the best in live music, entertainment, food and drink. We are looking for an enthusiastic, trustworthy, hardworking individual to drive both wet and dry sales and move the business forward. You’ll need to be customer facing and bring your own vibe to the venue.

You’ll also need to understand our diverse customer base, build rapport and continue developing an environment that appeals to them, artists and creatives alike.

Contribute towards new product and service offerings. Notice trends and react accordingly.

You will have likely worked in hospitality previously with an impeccable record and have an extensive drinks knowledge. You’ll know about cellar management and operation, food prep and the relevant H&S compliance

Maintain and strengthen professional relationships between you and your team and with Management. Mentor and inspire others around you. Lead by example. Excellent and effective communication with Management and in-house Promotions Team.

Full time Chef

We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team and help us to continue the development of our breakfast, brunch and lunch time business. You must be hardworking, reliable and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Applicants should have the following qualities and experience:

Passionate about creating fantastic food and great customer service
Menu development
Team player
Ability to lead your team and liaise with front of house staff
Managing stock levels to minimise wastage and conducting regular stock checks
Maximising GP

The role comprises of approximately 40 daytime hours per week including Saturdays and Sundays.
