The Dirt are Manchester based purveyors of sonic psych punk.
This Uk- japan noise making punkadelic awakening brings big bags of heavy guitar "loops" - distortion - fuzz and punchy percussion with a splattering of fast firing lyrics and energy. Think suicide meets Spaceman3 with some Fall /killing joke splatterings thrown in for good measure.
A DIY determination with activist angst that seamlessly fuses 60s garage psych with post punk.
Now signed to Sheffield based Sister 9 records, the band’s second studio album "Monkeypunch" is released August and ready to be celebrated.
