“You may not see it coming, but you’ll feel it when it hits you.” NGUVU: What exactly does this word mean? Do a quick search and you’ll come up with following words: Power, Energy and Dynamicity. Formed in 2017 by drummer Jamal Lewis-Service, NGUVU aims to provide Manchester music scene with a powerful music so raw it will hit your core. Combined with a well-rounded style that blends (but doesn’t limit itself to) Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, Afro-beats, Jazz, and many others, NGUVU are the band to watch out for in the very near future.

The Plimp Souls

Manchester-born funk and soul band The Plimp Souls are a nine-piece ensemble that break the mould of the usual "Funk'n'Soul band" to perform a fresh blend of the rarest covers and rawest originals guaranteed to get your feet shuffling.

Laga Runa
