Until recently, Alec Waters had been one half of the international sensation: Dogs Will, a DJ duo who’s undeniable mastery of the medium caused the split of previous crown bearer’s Daft Punk. “We just can’t keep up anymore.” - Robot no.2 Since his partner’s emigration however, Alec has gone solo under the moniker Badnew. Badnew brings an eclectic mix of 90’s hip-hop, funk and soul, disco, rock, indie, electronica and trip-hop to Night and Day. Anything that grooves goes.
