Gotobeat are excited to present, for the very first time in the U.K, a special collaboration of two Greek artists providing a blend of the current music scenery, matching 2 of the favourite genres in greek music: Rap & Rebetiko into one amazing show. Live on Tuesday, 12th March in Manchester.

– Tiny Jackal, one of the most influential rap artists in Greece, has been in the game for over 20 years, by forming or participating in a series of groups such as Ε13, Antarta, ScriptaManent, M.O.V., Nτοπαζ 18120, Rhymeshot, Fullface and No Hard Feelings, to name a few.

He has collaborated with “key players” of th greek scene, from Dimitris Mentzelos, Anser, Dj Alx, Killah P, Megas & Thanassimos to signifigant artists from other genres, like Spyros Grammenos, Stelios Salvador, Los Tiganos, Ioulia Karapataki, Takim and more.

He has released 4 solo albums, last of which was 2019’s “Atmosphere”. He’s known as one of the most active members of the rap scene by all aspects: artist, label owner, live productions, never stops creating and supporting.

He recently set up his brand new full band music project that is called “The Yellow Mary”, which introduces a new era for him, providing a blend from rap to funk and rock ‘n’roll.

GIAGKINIDES – 23 years old Giagkinides, like to call themselves “rebetiko – folk – traditional” group and they have certainly travelled throughout greek territory and islands and brought their buzz in local social media, with their streams and building up loyal fans.

Giagkinides formed during 2019 from two young musicians, Panayiotis Siklafidis and Spiros Zissis, which came together driven by their mutual love for Rebetiko music in Salonica where they were studying at the local university.

They started their common musical trip as street musicians, playing everyday at Thessaloniki for almost 2 years, something that played a huge role to their bond in terms of musical and personal relationship.

In 2022, they released an early version of their album “People of the streets”, which became popular, still a re-edited and re-recorded version of it, launched a few weeks ago.

During the last year, they began working professionally by selling out big gigs at theatres and live venues, festival performing, as well as setting up a massive winter ans summer tour all over Greece, gaining new audiences and interest from local media and music fans and professionals.

Their next plans include their first ever shows abroad, from Australia, Cyprus & Saudi Arabia, to the U.K, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, as well as their summer tour 2024, including lots of Festivals in Greece.
