Infectious, innovative, and irresistibly indie, alternative quartet Camens have been cooking up a storm with their latest wave of releases. Turning heads with a series of impressive national tour slots supporting the likes of Black Kids, Scouting for Girls, The Snuts and The Sherlocks to name a few; Camens have bought their idiosyncratic twist on indie music to a whole host of new faces. With their own loyal fanbase eagerly awaiting new music, 2024 is set to be another whirlwind year for the Stoke-On-Trent based quartet as they prepare to unleash their debut album ‘WORK/LIFE/BALANCE’. Channelling early 90s guitar vibes, Camens introduce ‘Cynical’, the first track taken from their forthcoming album. A typical break up song, ‘Cynical’ was derived from a love fizzled out. Capturing the notion of magic fading through a love gone quiet, a loss of conversation and the idea of going through the motions drifting on sofas and at dinner tables; Camens showcase a maturity in their masterful song writing.
