On reflection, a global pandemic wasn’t the ideal time to launch a new band but Warrington -based, 4-piece The Twenty Two managed to write and record their debut ep between lockdowns and release to critical acclaim.
Their debut is packed with vociferous attitude and swagger, bursts of guttural vocal energy, grinding guitars and pounding drums but there’s also a sensitive side on display with strong songs, soaring melodies, and talented musicianship. Now gigging extensively across the North-West, The Twenty Two have received great support from BBC Introducing Liverpool and XS Manchester
