Lewis James will be playing some of the music that inspired his latest EP to celebrate its release, alongside tunes from his favourite artists of all time.
Expect everything from the latest post-punk sounds coming from the Manchester scene, the likes of Pyncher & Harpans Kraft, all the way to the classic synthwave synergy of Depeche Mode and LCD Soundsystem. His special guests Flowers of Evil will be spinning tunes alongside, so except some art-pop icons thrown in for good measure!
Great music, great drinks, always free entry!
Lewis James from Manchester, England has been writing and producing synth-pop sounds since 2019. The Manchester Evening News writes that James ‘constantly keeps you on your toes with unpredictable, kaleidoscopic songwriting – one minute dabbling in heavyweight hip-hop, the next visceral electro, before segueing into lo-fi, soulful sounds.’
James’ new EP ‘WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE’ releases September 30th on all streaming services.
Manchester based Flowers Of Evil (Oscar Puente, Phia Sky, Ted Booth) are an LGBTQ+ fronted art-pop outfit, pairing new romantic flavours with industrial ‘80s goth beats to create something enamouring and unforgettable. Their postmodern theatrics provide an extra element of intrigue for listeners, and since forming in 2020 have collaborated with a number of artists from the queer community and far beyond.
